Collin "TC" Thorstenson was raised on a ranch located on a Sioux Indian reservation, born a Cowboy, where he grew up among mostly wild animals and formed a deep bond with them that would shape the course of his life. In 1980, after his buffalo herd was attacked by poachers, a three-day-old bison calf was left orphaned. TC bottle-fed the calf, who followed him everywhere, believing TC was his mother. He named him Harvey Wallbanger and trained him to become one of the most celebrated animal stars in Western history, featured in nine films, including Lonesome Dove, and over 40 national commercials - thanks in part to the spiritual bond TC shares with all animals. TC went on to become a three--time world champion mounted shooter and a three-time rodeo entertainer of he year, known for his fearless performances and his deep connection to the animals of the American West. His story, Buffalo King, captures it all.
